This years ad writers award goes to Sig Sauer

On the lighter side I just got a notice from Sig saying they have produced one million p365 pistols it reads 1,000,000,000 p365's produced that's a few more than a million. The same people that do QC on the production line must be writing ad's now.

I bet that's not a miss print at all. Due to the shoddy QC only 1,000,000 were any good. The rest were scrap.

I get the sense this has been a pretty tough year for Sig in particular. They seem to be way over-committed, under-staffed, and still trying hard to roll out new products that they then have to recall. Again...

I sent a pistol in to them under warranty replacement back in the first week of July. As soon as they received it they got in touch with me and let me know they would be replacing the pistol entirely. I was pretty impressed by how quickly I got a response.....and then, I waited 6 months for that replacement and didn't get it till December.

Well, the important thing is - do they still make/sell parts for them?  I like the two SIGs I have, but I'm not buying more.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Depends, which SIGs do you own?

Are you sure they are not from the Government Accounting Office (GAO)?  There is an editor somewhere going to have a bad day.
