CZ 511 Semi-Auto Review

Great review. But I can think of something better than CZ's and baseball.............CZ's and FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!;)   Seriously, I bought a 452 Lux and love it, when I went back to get the semi-auto, it had been discontinued. Now I'll have to save for one. Like that's a bad thing!:lol

I can think of something a lot better than one CZ 511. Two of them plus two of the 581 Brnos and even better still two of the 611 .22 mags and the .17 HMR as well.

The scoped CZs look pretty good. I'd like to get a Burris compact scope for mine someday.

Does anyone sell these anymore?  I cant even find an MSRP anywhere.  I've been toying with the thought of getting a .22 long autoloader (though probably not for a while, funds and whatnot).  I got to shoot a ruger 10/22 the other day, and was a fun gun to shoot, but if CZ makes a comparable rifle that is available for a comparable price....

I just got one!! Found it for sale at the local gunshow. I know these are out of production and just had to have it. Luck was with me and the wife said yes.  Ok, I probably paid more then I should have, $475 but then again I can't find one anywhere anymore.   Only problem is the lack of a manual. Does anyone have a manual for this rifle and could you send me the takedown/cleaning instructions? Thanks.

UPDATE:::

Found  a manual online at http://stevespages.com/pdf/cz511.pdf in case anyone needs one.

        I just purchased a CZ511 last week. I seem to have a problem. Why won't the slide action remain open for cleaning ? Isn't there a lock for leaving the action open ? I can't find any way to keep it open.
