Looks like Dan Wesson has discontinued the 715 revolver.

Sad news. I’m guessing it’s because CZ is looking to buy Colt and they don’t want intracompany competition with the Python. Still, it makes me sad.

Well heck. I have an older (circa 1975) DW model 15. That is a great revolver.
However, if you look at the CZ website, they indicate the 715 was discontinued in 2018. Go to the Dan Wesson site and they say 2020.

The Pistol Pack (4, 6 & 8" barrels) was still in the 2020 CZ-USA/Dan Wesson catalog. It was limited production and they used to sell out the year's production in advance. It is possible they aren't taking orders for 2021 since they never delivered the 2020 orders.

Sad indeed.  Though not surprised.  Cost to produce must have been pretty high and there are too many other products to compete with at lower costs.  To keep it viable they would have needed to produce different barrel lengths in mass and there just is not the demand for that anymore.  The old DW pistol packs with 4 barrels were neat back in the day and were incredibly accurate.  They will be missed by a few.

Glad I bought one and spare barrels when I did. Very good trigger SA and da very accurate also.

Now what about repair parts in the future???  Hoping that they will repair revolvers as needed. Going forward. Kinda wish I hadn’t sold my 65-2 Smith and Wesson. Starting to look for a good 66 smith. I hate obsolete guns in my safe.

Recently sold my 715 and now having some regrets. It's a really nice solid revolver, but I guess i'm just like semi's more..

Such a bummer, but the comment above about competition with colt makes sense to me.
