CZ Shadow 2 Orange front sight options

I understand that with the barrel bushing on the Shadow 2 Orange the front sight is different than traditional CZ 75 pistols?

Does anyone know of options are am I going to have to pay to have a wider fiber optics front sight put in mine?

I like it just fine but my wife (aka war department...) Who has also claimed this pistol as hers.... Thinks the front sight is too thin/small.

Give your beloved whatever she wants.  Would probably go to CZ custom for a wider front sight.  If not then to Dawson Precision.

Good luck.  Sorry to hear of your great loss...Shadow 2s are scarce around my neck of the woods.  Of course this could mean that you need to have another one for yourself.  There are always possibilities.

The Shadow 2 Orange front sight is not pinned like a standard Shadow 2.  I don't think anyone makes a replacement sight for it yet.

Thanks for the condolences.  :D I really like where you are coming from that a second needs to be added to the stable.  8) Since this one is a Shadow 2 Orange.... The other will have to be an Accu-Shadow 2... Maybe a Bull Shadow Compact....

Anyway I have checked Dawson, they don't spell out Shadow 2 Orange sights. I knew I would most likely have to speak with Stuart and crew.

Not know then what I know know I purchased 2x Tru glow TFX Pro sights. One for my P-01 and the other for the Shadow 2 Orange.
Of course after getting the sight I learned the different mounting of the front sight.  :o

This is correct, I'm unaware of any S2 Orange options.

Picking up this topic from earlier in the year. Has anyone found a wider front sight for S2 Orange? Hoping for a 1.5mm fiber. Dawson made a few improvements but I don’t think it’s wider. https://dawsonprecision.com/dawson-precision-cz-shadow-2-orange-fiber-optic-front-sights/

Just put in a little bit longer fiber optic so when you burn the ends with a lighter, it’ll produce a bigger blob compared to the stock.

That’s what I did on my X5 that has Dawson’s 1mm fiber optic front sight. It’s been working very well.
