Anyone who puts down the mainstream media, then resorts to getting “news” from far right or far left alternative news sites, has more than doubled down on the “fake-ness” that they despise... You only migrated to “news” that cranked up the lies that agree with your political sensibilities.

Yeah this is true but I challenge you to name a source with a straight face that you think is not biased. The best anyone can do is watch both sides and decide for themselves what they believe. I watch both sides but for me there's not a single idea I've seen on the left that I can get behind.

I dont decide what to think based on ANY news source. I look and see whats happening and decide for myself. Any news source dispenses material that requires one to separate the fact from fiction, and the substance from the spin.

That being said the "mainstream media" has mostly become nothing more than a propaganda mill, so they rightly deserve to be "put down". No argument about various extremist news sources.

It is really sad.  I remember in the 50s and early 60s what the news said was typically gospel and at least fact checked.  May have gone south during vietnam era and down hill from there.

On the other hand the weather seemed to be almost as accurate when they where not all "meteorologists" but rather weathermen basically telling us what was west of us yesterday will be here today.
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

I hope this isnt some kind of major no-no, but I just wonder if anyone else is feeling like I am about something

Anybody else avoid watching the news

Yes.  National news for YEARS.  Local news since last March.

With Perry Mason on 6x a day, I've got NO TIME for the MEDIA PANDEMONIUM VIRUS RUNNING DEATH COUNT!!!  ::)
