Great thread.

I see my preferred 124 gr Speer GDHP defensive load is already on the list; I also use:

Speer Lawman 124 Gr 53651

Cheers

Recently ran more Hornady Critical Duty through the P07s without any problems. That's #90215 124gr +P
Also just picked up a few boxes of Underwood 90gr +P Extreme Defender to try out. NJ is funny about hollow points, and I'm curious about all copper projectiles to avoid giving any home invaders lead poisoning !

"Factory ammo"? What is "Factory ammo"... just kidding. I only buy SD ammo, and right my my poison of choice in the P-10C is Hornaday Critical Duty 135gr _P which works pretty well. The P-10M was shot with Hornaday Critical Defense Lite, which is a 100gr FTX bullet and it was reasonably accurate and functioned well in the little thing.

No .45 data? +p Speer, Federal, and Hornady are real workhorses. My 97B does not like to be short-stroked!

No 45ACP data because no one has submitted any. It's all explained in the first post.

My CZ S2 does not like Federal Syntec at all, however it loves Freedom Munitions 135 and 147gr in either hollow point or FMJ. Both are very accurate.

[What weight on the Syntec ??]

In my own loading for my 97-BE, I found the pistol to be EXTREMELY sensitive to OAL with certain profiles, but flawless when the correct OAL was found, and I was loading soft 50 yard precision/bullseye loads.  I can assure you that not only is +P not required, but you don't even need stout standard pressure loads.  What you need is the correct OAL for the profile.  I hope this may provide some assistance.  ;)

I notice no one has posted anything about Magtech ammo.

Does this mean we only have bad things to say about this brand? Even the Guardian Golds?

I know I have bought and shot some, but it isn't one of my "usual brands" which makes it difficult to say what ate it
