No issues with the stock CZs, PSAs, MagPuls but really like the smoked PGSs for the instant round count recognition

I also have a mix of different brands of magazines all have been reliable so far.
I like the Magpul ones for the extra capacity

I’ve had my CZ Scorpion for only a couple of weeks and have had it out to the range twice.  First time using both mags that came with the gun with no problems, other than that factory safety lever which is no longer on the gun, but a nice HBI AK safety lever.

Today I used both mags, but one of the mags held the bolt open on every single round.  The other mag worked flawlessly.   Close inspection under a good light and magnifying glass reveals no defects.  Anyone have this problem with the factory mags?

EDIT: A photo of the factory mags before I shot the gun.  Notice the two bolt hold open buttons are parallel to the cutout in back of the buttons.  One of them now leans to the right and covers the vertical line of the cutout in back of the button.  I wonder if this might be the cause of the bolt holding open on every single round?

I run the new 20 and 30 rounds factory magazines and the Magpul ones with no issues.

Are there any aftermarket ten or fifteen round mags for
scorpion?
Why would you want aftermarket 10 rounds ones? The new black factory 10 rounds magazines (and the 20 and 30 rounds ones) work well and are priced decently.

You should contact CZ USA. If needed, they will replace it for free.

I’m going to use it once more since I had no problems with either magazine the first time I had it out to the range.  If I still have that problem, I'll contact CZ and have them replace it.  Thanks.  I was hoping someone here knew if that bolt hold open part no longer being vertical had something to do with the mag holding the bolt open on ever single round.

When I posted that question about a year ago, the factory ten round mags were out of stock everywhere.
But I disagree about price. They are about $40, compared to many of the aftermarket 20-30 round mags that are half the price.

I didn’t realize your post was from a year ago.
Anyway, factory 30 rounds magazines can be found at around $18 -$20.

If people are buying the ten round mags it’s because, usually, their state does not allow 30.
Which goes to my point. Why are factory ten round mags more expensive than 30 round mags.

10rd mags are much better when shooting from a rest on the bench or prone, especially when zeroing sights. I have a couple factory 10 rounders in each case, "just in case" the need arises.

Which goes back to my original point. It would be nice, if there’s a demand for ten round mags, not just for those of us in restricted states but also for prone and bench firing, if a third party would step up and make some for around $20, which is about 1/2 of what the CZ ten rounders cost. Having to pay double just because a state has passed absurd mag capacity limitation laws is adding insult to injury.

I just use the 20 rounders it came with for bench shooting. They stay out of the way enough to work well.

Same here.
