CZ-83 purchased at Patch Barracks, in Germany.  Great pistol, wish I had never sold it. Think it was under $200 at the time.

Here's the one that started it all.  A few changes were made along the way.

I had a very bad experience with a Glock 19 MOS I ended up trading off all my Glocks and buying a CZ P07 9mm. I found that being an old revolver guy I adapted well to CZ's D/A S/A pistols and now own several. My latest CZ is a 97 BD it shoots as well as my 40 year old Colt Gold Cup.

2018 P-01 Omega. I bought it this fall. It had the grips on it and some Cajun springs in it. I got out the Flitz and the Dremel and made everything silky smooth. Polished the trigger and barrel for looks. Added a guide rod, some pins and a trigger spring from Cajun.

Swapped the mag release to the correct side for a lefty. Installed a Hi-Viz fiber optic front sight. Tried both the decock and the safety and prefer the decocker.

Amazing little pistol. I liked it enough to have bought another one, the urban grey with threaded barrel. I will likely give it the same treatment, possibly with the short reset kit.

I started 4 years ago with a 75b in 40 S&W and it has many, many friends in the safe with it. It's an addiction I tell ya!!! I raised rabbits as a kid and these darn things multiply like those rabbits.

I remember those days- for me, it was at both the Hanau’s Rod and Gun or Wiesbaden rod and gun…..

I started w a 527 Carbine in 7.62x39.  Then I held a 75BD, which I promptly bought and dumped the Glock I’d never been happy with.  Now I have nine more to keep the first two company.

You non-Californians have it so nice. Haha i paid up the ass for my P10C and P07. Not even gonna say cuz im not proud of it, but in comparison to current CA prices, I did “well.” More than I wouldve liked for the P01, although just under retail.

My GF is from Thousand Oaks, anyways a few years ago I visited some gun stores out there.  I laughed and cried at the prices I saw.

I started down this path with an Israeli surplus TZ75 Tanfoglio clone that I got off Gunbroker. I liked it and knew I had to get the real thing.
I've found that growing up in the sixties was a lot more fun than being in my sixties.
