Wonder if the CCI Standard Velocity ammo would work, but I kind of doubt it would completely cycle the slide since the velocity is lower.
CCI works great in my Kadet II, other than the waxy lube which will build up on the feed ramp.

Can't find any for a decent price right now, so I've been shooting some Eley Action. Very similar results to CCI, but I had to up my hammer spring weight. Not sure if it's a priming compound issue, or a brass hardness issue.

I have 5 different Kadet kits.  None of them are finicky as far as ammo goes.  I’ve used browning Winchester Remington federal águia and others I can’t remember.

I've shot a Kadet kit a few times, and I gotta say, it's a pretty sweet pistol. As for ammo, I usually go with the 38 or 40-grain stuff that's moving around 1150-1250 FPS. But that's just me, you know? Suppose you're looking for reliable .22LR ammo for your Kadet kit. In that case, try out a few different types and see what works best for you. It's all about finding what your gun likes. Oh, and have you ever tried 32 20 wcf ammo? That stuff is legit. But I need to find out if it's compatible with the Kadet kit. Anyways, good luck with your search for the perfect ammo.

32 20 wcf is a center fire cartridge. How could that possibly work in a rimfire pistol chambered in 22 lr?
