Indoor Range Day With A Quiet Bolt Gun.
« on: February 26, 2021, 05:40:34 PM »
Went to the local indoor range. Two FN 509Ts and a Savage MKII made the trip. The little Savage is just a delight and one of my favorite guns ever.

I installed a new extractor in both FN 509s and wanted to make sure my EDC functioned after the change.

17 rounds of Federal HST at 25 yards.

Man, I hope I can shoot that well at 25 yards with a handgun. My brother and I have shot a basic wood stock Savage Mark II F.... and talk about a fun gun to shoot!

The key is the dot and quality reps. I spend a significant amount of my training at 15 and 25 yards.

Having a decently tuned pistol also doesn't hurt either.  :)
