Hammertime, I have the exact same set up except I have yet to replace the rear sight.  can you post a pic of the sight picture? also, how easy is the removal and replacement of the rear sight with the J point sights?  I do not have a sight pusher.  thanks.

My rear sight was jammed in there pretty good. Since the only sight pusher I own at the moment is pretty lame, I ended up taking it to my gunsmith and having him push the rear sight out and mount the new one.

I'd like to gather examples of as many different optic set ups as possible to include in the P10 tuning thread. Doesn't matter which size P10 you have. Post 'em if ya got'em. Please include a pic or two, optic model, back up sight brand and size, and the shop that did the work if it was milled.

Hey - apologies for not getting around to getting a good photo of the sight picture yet. What I can tell you is that I had to have my gunsmith use a sight pusher to get the OEM rear sight out and mount the OR rear sight. In general, these sights are a little taller than I would prefer, but I blacked them out which has helped with the sight picture being less 'busy.'

I may experiment with a different set of OR sights at some point, but experimenting gets costly, so I'd like to get some solid info first on another option that isn't quite as tall as these, but will still function as BUIS with the Venom (I don't co-witness my pistol optics).

Update - as mentioned above, the sights I was running before were higher than I really wanted and made the sight picture a little too busy. After checking out the height measurements for the Night Fision OR sights, I decided to try them out. Easy to mount and I really like that both the front and rear sights have set screws. I went with the "yellow" (which really seems more like neon green to me) front sight, blacked out rear. They work perfectly with the Venom, being at the very bottom of the optic window but still fully visible if I need them - exactly what I want in a BUIS that isn't co-witnessed.

What’s the co/witness area with the SRO + factory suppressor sights?

I almost purchased a P10F suppressor ready today with the though I’d just having the slide milled.

My preference is lower 1/3rd of the glass area or below.

It's very low in the FOV, definitely 1/3 or below.
