P10c Backstrap issues

So I have gone through the different back straps to find the one I like the best. I settled with the large. The pin is set back in and out the grip is firmly set on the bottom, but when I press the grip with a firm hand gripping it seems to move/ flex at the very top.

Has anyone else noticed this. It is kinda annoying.

Am still new to CZs (P-10c and P-07) and have not noticed that at all.  But I use the small strap on the 10c, and med on the 07.  My shooting hand grip is fairly tight and up as high as possible under the beavertail - but the support hand grip even tighter.  I'll check next time I shoot

Thanks for the feedback. If it helps mind flexes in my hand by just pressing on it. and does so much it audibly makes a noise. Like a low volume duck quack. My small and medium ones I don’t think did this.

I use the large grip on my P07 and P09. I just finger banged them both and pressed down as hard as I could. I did not notice any flex.

My p10f does that with the medium backstrap i put on it when i bought it. Figured that strap was out of spec since the other 2 didnt flex and pop. CZ wanted me to send in the entire gun, but i just sent in the strap... that was around last summer, still no replacement.

I have a recently acquired new P-10F that came with the small backstrap attached from the factory.  I replaced it with the medium backstrap and have had none of the issues you are having.

the only action I could suggest would be to remove it and try the other 2 backstraps and see if they too flex - even without the pin in, they shouldn't flex.  Then re-install the large insuring it is fully seated.

I checked both P-10cs before range time this AM.  Pressing with my thumb as hard as I could did not flex the small back straps on either in any way I could detect visually or feel.  Later I shot them today and could not sense any flex or movement.

So I received the email back today first thing from Cz.

They want me to ship the whole gun back to them with all items included mags and lock.

Umm...

Turn around time they said is 4-6 weeks.

So there you go. I have to fill out the warranty information and wait for a shipping label then off to fedex.

So The CZ guys are great at getting back promptly! Just heard word back that they would ship a back strap out to me but unfortunately they don’t have them in stock at the moment. So I am going to ship the gun off to them to have them check it out. He couldn’t guarantee a faster than 4-6 weeks but has said they are doing a pretty good job currently.

Hmmmm, I guess that’s the best thing to do though honestly, because it could be something that is related to the actual frame itself or the grip in the frame and not the backstrap module?

Guess I get to email them as well and we’ll go from there.

Kind of stinks though,

I’ll be waiting until I get my P-07 in that way if the grip inserts don’t fit I’ll be sending two pistols back to CZ to be checked.
