CZ 75 Tactical Sport 2
« on: April 17, 2021, 05:53:39 PM »
Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum. I recently purchased a tactical sport 2 and it's amazing. I cant get over the trigger and grip. It shoots like a dream and very accurate.

Does anyone else have one? I havent seen many videos on YouTube. I'm dying to see what others think.

Thank you

Congratulations.  I can not find one.  Do love my TS pistols, but would like to get my hands on one of the new ones.

I got completely lucky to find mine. I live in Oklahoma City and I drove to a small town gun store. I was shocked they had one. Pretty much all the CZ's in the city are bought.

The single action trigger is amazing. It's about 1.5 so its light.

I hope you can find one soon. You wont regret it.

Frankly, I don't understand the rationale for TS2 to resemble practically all the features of TSO. What's the point of buying TSO at its pricepoint if one can buy a TS2 and have 99% of functionalities as well as some money saved. The whole existence of TSO was based on the real difference between TS and TSO. IMHO TSO should be discontinued.

From what I recall to get all the features on the TSO you had to pick up the most expensive TS2 variant (not sure it is in the US yet).   It is more expensive than the TSO.

Secondly, the TSO comes in 40, which in my opinion, is the only caliber to purchase a Uspsa limited gun in.

Cheers,
Toby

+1 for 40 cal.  Major 9 is a disaster waiting to happen.  Shooting a real major caliber makes sense both in practical and real world tactical.  Don't discontinue the TSO in 40 until you have a 40 TS2... and would like mine in USAF blue grips...please!

IMHO TSO should be discontinued.

I would image that to be a plan after CZ gets the upper end TS2 models here along with .40.

The TS2 represents a Tactical Sport based on the newer Shadow 2 frame, while the TSO represents one of the highest versions of the older CZ 75 frame. The CZ 75 frame may be older, but it's still one of the best and one of the most ergonomic pistols out there. Why would you want to discontinue one of the most iconic and the best firearms made? Even the CZ Czechmate and the Parrot are based on the older 75 frame, although rumors are that there will eventually be a new Czechmate based on the Shadow2 frame.

Frankly I have several CZs based on the older 75 frame, TSO, Shadowline, while I also have the newer Shadow2. I love both, but if I were to have to choose between the Shadow2 and the TSO, I would probably pick the TSO hands down. Everyone has their own opinion.

To some the TS2 may be seen as a big improvement, but for many others the older TSO design is their choice. They are both fantastic designs and represent the pinnacle of CZ pistol design. Just because the Shadow2 design frame is newer, it doesn't mean that it's better. There's room for both.

CZ discontinued the original Tac Sport, but only after the Orange got popular. The orange in .40 is next on my list.

Both of these are 9mm, and due to health issues remain unfired by me...

Can you please post pictures of slides and frames interchanged on these?
May you be blessed with health and shoot out these pistols!!

Sure...

I may have said they were a perfect fit, but I was wrong. They do fit each other, but don't line up as they should...
