124 gr low power factor
« on: April 30, 2021, 08:10:50 PM »
Got a bunch of 124 gr S@B that is really hot ...146 pf ... but it groups better than some federal 115 at 130 pf.. is there any factory 124 that has a lower pf or should you reload your own?

Federal Syntech 124gr is listed at 1050fps, which would be 130pf.

9mm loads usually for good accuracy and velocity consistency are hotter loads.  To find a low powerfactor load out of the box would be difficult and probably expensive.  Reloading is probably your best option.

Good Luck on your project.

Here's a link that has several factory options for lower PF 9mm.
