C-more on Checkmate
« on: May 14, 2021, 04:25:42 PM »
Just got my Checkmate back from Cz Custom Shop.  Set up with comp, C-More, charging handle, *thumb rest [generic]*, and action tune.  WOW!!!  I’m in LOVE with it!   It’s probably my favorite pistol to shoot and my first time with a dot.  The accuracy is almost like cheating with this pistol.  It begs to be shot fast.

What do you guys use to clean the lens on the C-More?   I been using these lens cleaning wipes.  On my phone and iPad they work great.  On the lens they do but it’s like they leave a haze a little.  Just don’t want to scratch it.

What pound recoil spring is recommended? Stuart told me if I’m not having an issue with cycling than leave it with factory spring.  Is this 13lbs?

Where can I find more mags?

I use a 9lb Wolf spring in mine with the comp. It cycles every kind of ammo I've run through it using the comp.

No battering of the frame?

I used the same weight of recoil spring shooting 9major loads. No frame battering at all. The compensator works as designed.

Good to know.   So how do you cleanse your lense?   Other thing I’ve noticed is the tolerances on slide is tight and grease isn’t the best thing to use.  I’ll be going back to my Wilson Combat oil.

I use Zeiss Lense wipes they seem to do the trick.  I also use Slide-Glide grease on mine with tight tolerances with no issues and after being a bit skeptical of the claims at first, I now use it on all my CZs,  have not tried it on a polymer gun yet.
