Just for grins and giggles I bought a holster for my smoke wagon, an Outlaw Kid tuned Pietta 1851 Navy in 44. I haven't tried any real holster work yet, not exactly a fast draw rig, and I want to find a load it likes, as well as a taller front sight...but what fun making the pop and belch!

I think I’d just carry a LeMat slung over my shoulder under a jacket with a butt stock, like a “whip it” sawed off shotgun a la Bonnie & Clyde...

I remember years ago seeing a video from Tennessee of someone open-carrying a blackpowder revolver because it did not fall under the state statutes as a firearm or pistol covered by their concealed carry laws.

If you're going back to completely obsolete weapons, do it very consistently and carry a hand ax in a concealed way. 

He’s got that covered with the “knife” he carries.
