P-10S grip extension
« on: May 14, 2021, 08:35:29 PM »
Does anyone make a grip extension for the magazine baseplate on the P-10S? I don't want a "plus round" extension, just a little extension for my pinky like a Pearce.

The only version I have found so far is from CZ itself (CZ parts).  They are pricey and shipping from Czech republic adds to this cost - but they are in stock per the website.  I've had 2 on order for a couple of weeks now.

gwes351, did the mag extensions come in from CZ-CR?
HB industries has had the CZ mag extensions, but out and not sure when delivery is coming from CZ-CR. Same with Greg Cote, they are out also. Both have been out for a while, probably like most things nowadays.

Ducksrus - no, they have not arrived.  Their website says available when they decide to make them (or a small run etc).  I'll let everyone know when (if?) they arrive

Just to be clear, that cz-parts.com company is not a part of CZ Group. It's a parts reseller that put CZ in their name.

That's a decent-looking base pad... looks like it would be a good compromise between not being too bulky for CCW while also providing a full grip for your pinky finger.

Too bad they are kind of expensive and not widely available.

Anyway, depending on whether you plan to carry with your P10-S with this magazine or not, you might look into one of these:

https://leapers.com/index.php?act=prod_detail&itemno=PUBCZ01&midx=2381&allids=2377_2381

They are too bulky for CCW in my opinion but they work good for range mags.  They don't say they are specifically compatible with the P10-S but if they work with P10-C mags then they'll probably work with P10-S also.  They are also relatively cheap and easy to find on eBay.

I run them on my P-07 range mags.  I also stuck some adhesive foam weather stripping to the bottom of them, to cushion their impact when I drop my mags.

My P10S came with 2 grip extensions that look a lot like the UTG ones.

I really needed them and I have girly hands compared to most of you.

Has anyone tried the grip extensions from Galloway Precision and/or Springer Precision for P10-C or S?

No, but if you do will you tell us how they work? I find the P-10S grip is JUST barely long enough for me to get a full grip.

Sorry for the late response. This is what I bought.

Not quite identical to the pinky extensions that came with my P10S, its a tad shorter but it still does the job well for me and my smallish hands

This is late response but Henning makes some too that are really nice, a bit pricey but they look good. I pick up my P10S on Friday and will eventually get one. I already have 2 of the CZ +2s laying around that I used for my P-07, and also will use a shield arms +5, but think the Henning will look a lot better than the plastic CZ ones.

Purchased a Galloway +2 extension. The rear chamfer of the pad hits the inside tail of the backstrap. The magazine appears to work fine with dummy rounds, not shot yet. Gap between grip & extension is about same as standard mag. The extension should work, but I am going to increase the angle of chamfer on extension to improve matchup with backstrap.

well, I finally got around to contacting CZ-parts about my spring order for their extended mag base plates (I got busy doing summer things for a few months).  They found that their shipment to me got lost in NYC USPS for some reason.  They immediately offered a full refund, or to re-ship my order - I chose re-ship.  So I'll let y'all know when I get these.
