CGW Basic Polish Job
« on: June 24, 2021, 03:36:33 PM »
How much do you guys charge for a basic polish job? I am sending in my PCR for some mill work and I was hoping to have some other work done. I have it setup pretty close to where I want it but just wondering what else we can do while you have it that isn't too radical. Also considering the Decocker hammer install.

P.S. I have already emailed David about this so forgive me if this is redundant.

Thanks -Frank

I would just give them a call. That will be the fastest response.

Dudster.  if you observe your stock hammer very closely you will se it move to the rear a bit and then fall. the spring has to be moved a bit to move the hammer rearward. with the race hammer or ring hammer as the trigger is pulled the hammer does not move that tiny bit rearward. rather the hammer falls straight off the sear. in a carry pistol you might want that extra resistance created by the hammer rising ever so slightly before it drops. i have an sp-01 and p-01 and both have the cgw ring hammers. all depends what you prefer.
