CZ SP-01...Holosun 507 C or K?

Looking to get a green dot placed on my sp-01. I know the C would need a mounting plate and the K does not. Any pros or cons to the mounting plate? Is the K too small for a full size CZ? Does the C overhang a lot and look really ugly? This is a fun range gun only, I will be deleting the front and rear sights anyways.

Here's a C & K next to each other. The C will definitely over hang the sides of the slide.
When I mill my P01, I will be putting a 507k on it.

You can get your SP-01 milled by Fire4Effects without needing a plate.  They offer a optic milling package called RDOMS for the SP-01 and Shadow 2s that is specifically for the Trijicon RMR/SRO but since the HS uses the same footprint it’ll fit. 

I’ve had two Shadow 2’s cut by F4E and can vouch for the quality of their work.

Brekke Custom did the Holosun on my SP-01 and it came out great.  Very small plate as the top of the SP-01 is narrow but looks fine.  Love the 32 moa ring and green LED.

One of the guys in my group from the uspsa match this weekend had a naaaaaaace S2 nitrided and customed out milled and had the 507k. I didn't get to sight it, but it looked great. Custom Green grips too. coolest S2 I've seen in person.

Why would you go with a small window on a frame mount on a competition gun?

I like the ring with no dot as opposed to big dot. I have a CMore railway 90 mount with an 8MOA dot and its awesome, but I would like to try a Big Green Ring(BGR). If I could get the BGR in a low horizontal frame mount that would be even sicker, but I'm not aware of that option.

Cause I'm an idiot and thought that the K was the bigger version. I mean C comes before K in the alphabet so...

Thanks for all the replies and input. I opted to go with a C with plate on my SP-01. Just sent it to Cajun Gun Works for a full treatment. I don't know how other places can get the C mounted without a plate due to the narrow slide top unless it was cut super deep into the slide.

I want to see a 90 deg frame mounted holosun. Wil be next year before I get around to fabbing that. They also will have the enclosed sight coming out very soon too looks great!
