Well maybe after the new electron and Yee- Min Lin gets in and changes somethings. It might get better I sure hope so I've been shooting Uspsa for less than a year and I'm hooked.

You think Yee Min will change anything? Lol, you must be joking. Even if he was the type of guy to challenge the status quo(he isn't), it wouldnt matter anyway. The BOD neutered the position with the recent bylaw changes. They might as well be the NRA.

Well if we can get Joel park in area 3 and Matt Hopkins in area 6 . Then Yee-Min Lin as pres then maybe some change can come.

Based on conversation with Leighton (Area 2 Director), it sounds like they are making the President's role more of a social/face of the organization type of role.  They are hiring a CEO person to run the business aspects of the organization.  Move the function and decision making back to the CEO/board and make sure the organization is running smoothly.  In an attempt to get some of the nepotism/good ole boy practices out.

"Good ole boy" practices like an AD's son failing chrono at a national championship and not being DQ'ed, or disciplining members so they can't run for board positions for 5 yrs? I'm skeptical of anything the board says at this point.
