Does anyone have a Holosun 407k mounted on a P01? If so what do you think positive or negative? And pics please!

I have the 407k on a compact and a full size.
I like the dot a lot . Fits the slide well and easy to pick up the dot on the draw.
I prefer the 6 moa dot, as I see it best with my eyes.

Stuart at CZ Custom (see above) milled my PCR slide and installed the 407K. I need to dry fire my presentation more to get used to the dot but it works great so far. Will prob switch over to Carry Optics for competitions and carry full time next year.

I'm considering a 407c on mine. Currently I have 507k on a Sig 365xl and a 407c green dot on a P-10c. I'm going back and forth as the 507k appears to look better in the photos I've seen.

Though the 407c has a thinner, less obtrusive frame and I found a YouTube of one done by CGW that looks pretty good.

The "K" fits better on the CZ slide.   I like the 507's better than the 407's.

Does anyone have actual dimensions for 507k and 507c? Holosun website show them as identical with solar battery difference only.  :-[
Are the mounting plates identical?

I believe the k's are the smaller of the two. My 507k is smaller than my 407c. Check again jurek, off the top of my head the k model is about. 98" wide whereas the c is 1.24".

Width was my major concern as I didn't think I wanted it straddling the narrow P-01 or Phantom slides.

I know it's a bit confusing, Holosun offers so many models...probably a good thing and there is Trijicon and Leupold and others.

There is a guy with a YouTube titled " Cajun Gun works CZ 75 P-01" He mounted the 507c  on his and he has another,  an Omega I think with a Vortex on it. I was going the 507k route until I saw that video as well as some photos on this forum.

I was thinking about this one: HS507C-X2-ACSS
For my eyes triangle works better than dot. Additionally the big ring may help me with misalignment which I'm afraid of  :P

Anyway... I don't want to steal the thread... so let comeback to 407k mounted on a P01.  :)

The Phantom slide is actually wider than std 75 series and allows for mounting an RMR or 507C.

If you look at my post under Cajun Gun Works, pics of a 507K on a PCR & a 507C on a SP-01

Ha, join the club jurek! this is why I need these red dots.

I stand corrected Earl, the Phantom is in fact wider, I'm getting 1.07" on the Phantom, and .93" on the P-01 at the very back of the slides, the Phantom has what I think is "a lightening cut" that begins at the ejector cut on both sides of the slide all the way to the front sight, the P-01 doesn't do that. I'm thinking the RMR plate may overhang there, I'm hunting for photos. I really like the pistol but if I had to trade into a SP-01 or a Shadow to make it work I'd consider it. I'm still a CZ novice and learning as I go and the CZC Shadow has caught my attention for a full sized pistol. Knowing what I know now I think I'd strongly consider just purchasing the "worked over" pistols from CZC or CGW from the start, have them cut the slide, mount a plate where applicable and ship to my FFL.

Steve, very nice pistols!

No need for a plate, unless you want it(phantom/rami). Another option is the rmr/507c plate from Impact Machine, it includes a BUIS.

Thank you Earl, contacting Scott at Impact to cut my P-01 and maybe some other things is on my to do list. The Phantom will be on the back burner for a while.
