new PCR-great gun but horrible trigger

 I dont know where you live, but here in TN the 229's are bringing big dollars. Actually most hammer fired Sigs are. I had a stock PCR, the 229 has a Gray Guns SRT trigger and some nice sights. It was an even trade and I'm thrilled with it. The trigger is real nice, and after putting 4-500 rounds thru it, it now has a light mounted on the rail and its my nightstand gun.

I know what the 229 brings but they AIN"T worth it and they AIN"T the gun the CZ is. I know I own 4 229 variants along with 4 CZ's. Yes the CZ trigger needs work as new but once that's done there's just no comparison.
I liked the Sigs early on but over time they show themselves to not be what they claim they are. Nice triggers when new generally but they don't exhibit the reliability of the CZ along with a few other unsavory items not the least of which is the very weak grip screw threads in the frame.
My oldest PCR has 22,000 trouble free rounds and a few thousand trouble free through 2 others.
You're happy with your trade so at the end of the day that's all that matters. Hope it serves you well.
