I had a TSO, but the Shadow 2 Orange is the one I've really wanted. Hopefully some range time tomorrow  ;D

I'm disappointed. The rear sight is not centered, so I went to loosen the the Allen Screws and the key will not fit in the left one.
Do they still test fire for accuracy before they send them out and was it set this way on purpose? There was no test fire target
included in the case. I'm pretty OCD about things being centered and even. Thanks for any input.

Congrats, you purchased the best ever CZ handgun IMO.  They only test fire for operation and not for accuracy. It always a good idea to have a set of Allen wrench bits and star bits that fit into a socket. That left screw might be rounded a little bit, and having an Allen bit that you can lightly hammer tap into the screw hole will take care of of that problem.

Your rear sight looks to be a smidge to the left. My S2O was off even more. I knew it before I picked it up but out of 3 I got to examine before buying it was the only "issue" it had. it was easy to get centered but I have CZCs sight pusher which makes it easy to get perfect. I can hit 8in steel plates at 100yards with it on the regular. Phenomenal pistol. Enjoy

Congrats!

Make sure you’re using a metric Allen wrench instead of SAE.

Agreed, at least for production class. I've owned mine about a year now. Have run many 1000's of rounds through it and it is just a joy to shoot. Enjoy!

Thank you guys. I'm going to shoot it this afternoon and see if it really needs to me moved.
Like I said, I can be a real nutcase about things being perfectly aligned, centered and even.
George16, it's the Allen wrench included with the pistol so I assume it's the correct one.
Since this has a 1911 style barrel bushing, where's the best place to start for disassembly?
The manual doesn't really cover it and I cant find a video. Thanks.

You disassemble same way as any other CZ.  Once you have the slide and recoil spring off, you rotate the barrel bushing to the left (approx. 10:00), if I remember correctly, and the bushing will slide right out. I never had to use the supplied barrel bushing wrench, just finger pressure.  I think it's to the left, but I might be wrong.  It has been a while since I had mine apart.

Thank you! Things were a bit tight, but that is to be expected from this awesome CZ Precision.
The clean and lube is finished and she's ready for the range. I'll post that up in the Range Section.

See and I remember when you recently posted that you probably wouldn't buy another CZ. They just have a way of calling out when they know you are the most vulnerable and then you're snagged before you know what happened.

Yeah... I was being a bit crazy with the HK addiction, but my senses have returned. CZ Pistols have always been my favorite.
I have always believed that CZ Pistols are some of the Finest on the Planet.
I was very pleased with the first 25 rounds from my S20. I'm posting a target pic upstairs in the Range Section.

I understand completely. Just got a call from the lgs today. There's another PCR in my future I'm thinking.

I Need one of those. I saw one at a gun show a couple of years ago that actually said "PCR" on the slide. I should have
purchased it on the spot. I haven't seen one like it since.

And... P.S. guys, I think the rear sight is fine right where it is. (I'll just have to ignore it ;))
