Does the P-07 have the same internal slide rails as a CZ-75

I will try harder to find this unicorn (at least over here) if I can confirm it does.

TIA!

If you mean does it simply have internal slide rails then yes it certainly does. The slides/frames are not interchangeable between the metal 75 series and the plastic P series though.

Great!

The P Series frames don't have the internal rail system does it? My P10S barely has any grooves where the slide connects to the frame whereas my 75B and Shadow 1's frames slide grooves cover the whole length.

Correct, the P10 series has the slide rails inside of the slide like many other brands and is a deviation from the current standard CZ method of having them on the outside of the slide (CZ 75 series, P07/09).

Regardless, I do enjoy the P10- in my experience it’s been a reliable and accurate gun to employ rapidly.

OK just to clarify the P-07/09 do use the internal rail system like standard metal framed CZ's BUT the rails on the frame are metal inserts at 4 points and DO NOT run the length of the frame the way they do on a steel or aluminum framed gun.

Oh I see. I was thinking about moving from the P10S to a P07 because its SA/DA and I was kinda hoping the internal slide rails would impart greater accuracy.

Getting a micro 9 isn’t as attractive due to carry laws over here. Even if we have carry permits we are not allowed to open carry or concealed carry. The way the cops interpret the law is we have to carry our firearms in a bag/pouch which have to be on our persons. Thus printing isn’t an issue, your carry constraints are limited to how heavy a firearm you are willing to lug around.

The P-07/09 do exhibit extremely good accuracy but that has much more to do with the barrel lock up. This is not to say the slide rails are not important because they certainly are but having them internal or external has no bearing on the mechanical accuracy of the gun.
None of this is to say the P10S is not accurate the way it's made either as it should be an extremely accurate pistol as well, it's a CZ after all. The P10S is a smaller shorter barreled gun and it does take some additional practice for the user to be accurate with such a gun.

Thanks for this!

So to summarize (and please correct me where I get it wrong) -

1. The internal slide rail feature of the CZ75 family isn't responsible for the gun's accuracy
2. The barrel lock up of the P07/09 is better than that of the P10 family

I guess I should be comparing the P07 and the P10C as they are more analogous in terms of size.

The P10C will probably have a higher trigger pull and I assume a little less accurate because of the barrel lock up you mentioned, but it does have a slightly longer barrel and I can get one that's optic ready
