527 carbine 223, 100 yard test
« on: October 24, 2021, 03:17:23 AM »
Spent the last couple weekends at the range testing various .223 rounds I've had laying around for other rifles. The carbine shot really well, and shot two particular rounds exceptional in my opinion for factory ammo. One was a black hills 52gr match hollow point. Dime size group. With ammo the way it is, I only did 3 shot groups instead of 5.  The best round I've shot with it so far is a sierra factory ammo, 55gr blitzking. Shot a real tight group. I bet if I could shoot better it would have been one ragged hole. I'm impressed with this rifle and have been using it successfully on coyotes this season. I appreciate it's small handy size as well! Not sure how to post pictures yet, but I will when I figure it out
