Now that would interest me greatly and they put a more than reasonable msrp on it right in line with other hammer fired metal frame pistols of the same class.

I absolutely will be getting one of those just after the first of the year. No mag safety. Better sights. Extended safety. Ring hammer. Totally beautiful finish. Decent price.

How is this differeent from the Tactical?  I have that one in 45, and it has most/all of the features describled, and a really nice trigger. 8)

From the tactical what? The only SA tactical models in .45 I find are the XD's and 1911's. This is a re-issue of the Browning Hi Power in 9mm which is a totally different animal.

no mag safety, forge frame and slide. safety looks nice, magwell is beveled.

$699 isn’t a terrible price but I don’t think I’d shell out that much. At least not right now.
