future parts availability and service for Rami
« on: November 07, 2021, 01:40:47 AM »
With the Rami going out of production what do you see as future of parts availability and service for Rami BD? I guess that Rami shares a lot of parts with other Series 75 pistols, such as, PCR, but I am really only guessing. Thanks for any info or opinions.

I work on my own guns, so I don't forsee an issue with service. As for Rami specific parts, there are cross overs available. For me, the main concern is replacement recoil springs, and the solution for that issue can be found here on the forum. In the future, finding mags could be an issue, so stock up now.

Up until the recent Bren 2 parts and service debacle, I never had any problem getting parts for CZ pistols from various sources. I hope to hell that CZ doesn’t go the way of SIG and suddenly stop making parts for weapons that they just as suddenly discontinue.

You would think that Wolfe could easily make replacement recoil springs for the Rami. Apparently, with a web search, there are numerous alternatives that can be used to improvise. Aside from the short 10-round Rami magazine, the Rami will take any other CZ-75 magazine, though they won’t be flush fit.

As far as sights, the Rami uses the Novak front sight dovetail, which is pretty much universal, and can take the standard CZ75 rear sight.
