The X Series triggers are great. Here is my X-Compact with the Wilson Combat grip module. This smokes the CZ PCR all day long.

Having owned several Sig X-series over the years, I would say their out-of-the-box triggers are just ok, certainly not "great." The only one I have handed (and still own) that I would say is "quite good" is the X-Carry Legion I bought last year, which has a trigger that is quite a bit better than any standard X-series I've handled. I would say the X-series triggers could only be considered "great" in comparison to most other striker triggers, which tend to be mushy and/or gritty and leave a lot to be desired. So yes, for a striker gun, the X-series triggers are not bad.

Total 'apples and oranges' comparison to a good hammer-fired trigger though, in my opinion. And in contrast to your experience in particular, my PCR with some inexpensive CGW parts swapped in and a little polishing, will blow the doors off any standard X-series trigger I've ever touched.

But you've clearly already made up your mind and you should enjoy your new pistol.

I'm Talking Stock Triggers, and Most Stock CZ DA/SA Triggers Suck.

Yes stock CZ triggers can leave alot to be desired in stock form but I can buy a metal framed CZ75 variant add the CGW Pro Package to it and it will SMOKE anything Sig has to offer in the same price range. My PCR's make the 2 Sig P229 Legions and my 2 M11-A1's look miserably sad both in accuracy, shootability, and we won't even go into reliability. My CZ's never choke but these Sigs good grief you'd think they could make a pistol that won't jam but no I think it's a right of passage at Sig or maybe they just want Sig owners to be well versed in malfunction drills.

Yeah, well God forbid you put $50 and a little elbow grease into a gun. CZs come with duty-grade triggers, just like HKs and others do that are built for real-world profesional use, not trigurbating at the range. And as such, they get the job done very well, attested by how much they've been used by departments and agencies around the world. It's well known that if you aren't ok with the duty-grade, out-of-the-box trigger, that CZs are very easy to improve if you have a desire - being inexpensive to improve, and easy to imrprove, are a big part of the appeal for those of us who are familiar with the brand.

And if you're truly that picky and don't want to invest the time yourself, well that's what the Shadow-level CZs and CZ Custom and CGW-built guns are all about. And I guarantee you that any of those offerings aren't even remotely in the same category as any Sig striker trigger, Legion or not. If you have high standards and you want high-end quality, you generally are going to imprive the gun yourself, or you pay for it.

I have a Shadow 2 Orange, it's my only stock CZ DA/SA trigger that doesn't suck. I have had many CZs and gotten rid of most.

I'd venture to guess CZ has far more military and police contracts around the world than Sig does and there's a reason for that. What has Sig got besides lawsuits from police agencies across the country over the P320 drop safe issue and the infinite stupidity of the US gubermint awarding them a contract. The M9 was/is a far better more reliable gun than the M17/18 will ever be.
I spent a considerable amount of time with Sig over the past few years and I'm eternally grateful that I didn't get rid of My CZ's.

I guess I just don't understand the disconnect between being a duty-grade gun and then being disappointed it doesn't have a match-grade trigger.

But we are beating a dead horse here....and once again, this is the exact conversation that took place on the HK forum 6 months ago when you suddenly decided HKs "suck" and CZs are far superior....should we make any predictions on what the next brand will be when you become disillusioned with Sigs in 6 months?

Lol... I'm starting to think some of you guys have CZ Tramp Stamps.  ::)

And I'm starting to think you're one of those guys who goes back to the tatoo parlor several times a year to get his tramp stamp changed...  ;)

I think there's more going on here than just his disheartening experience with his recent pistol purchases so maybe we should just leave the dead horse be. The pattern is set in stone at this point.

I don't believe a person should have to invest more time and money on a brand new pistol to make it decent.
