Where are all the 457's?
« on: January 05, 2022, 06:58:38 AM »
I have been looking for a less expensive entry level 457, scout, trainer, or American synthetic. There doesn't seem to be any available besides gunbroker where the sell most times over msrp. LGS say they can't get them.

Keep an eye on Georgia Gun Store. They get them at least once a month.

If you're still looking I wish you luck.  It comes and goes. I bought my 457 thumbhole in early December when the Pro Varmints and MTRs were in abundance and prices lower.  Then suddenly a drought.  Given the shipping hold ups, it's going to be like this all year.  Feast or famine.  But never really cheap.

Join their email blog. They send out updated inventory a few times a week.

I'd like to get a 457 also. When there were quite a few at one of the LGS I just looked  :-\, now that I'm ready to buy, none to be found, go figure  :-[

I normally wouldnt do this but Id been looking for awhile too and living in an area where about all the local shops sell are firearms that cater to waterfowlers I decided to look on GB and believe it or not I found a seller who seems to have an inexhaustable supply of 457 Varmints, I bought one with a stunningly beautiful stock. The most amazing part is theyre not raping people on the price, $625, which I think is MSRP?
Not sure if I can mention a specific seller or not( I get in trouble alot on various forums because I rarely read the "rules" for speech but if you want to PM me Ill give you their name. Not sure if they have the one youre looking for though. I didnt look at all of their other listings.
