Mike Rowe has been advising young people to go to trade schools. May be good idea.

Mike Rowe has the right idea. If you need to hire a contractor like a carpenter, lumberjack, plumber or general purpose handyman, good luck. If you already have a good relationship with a contractor, be sure to take care of them. I mean $100 tips.

The last time I had to get something done I waited six months. It was worth it.

People who actually get stuff done are in the driver's seat right now. Truckers for example are finally becoming aware of the power they have. Good for them!

Pumped gas at full service for 24.9 cents.  Bought my first house for $29,900 and have purchased vehicles for more. House was purchased on 7% low income low interest loan.  When we both again where employed interest was 19% for almost a year.  Addition to almost double square footage on that house was $200,000.  Now drive a GMC 3500 and diesel fill is more than those house payments. My first semi auto .22 was $19 at the local hardware store purchased by me at age 13 without parental consent.
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

Wow I can't imagine a 13 y/o being allowed to purchase a pistol today, back then I guess they trusted young kids more than they trust grown ups today. Why is that??

How about this, when I was 13 living in Brooklyn NY my friend and I would get on the bus with 2 22 cal in soft cases. Everyone knew what was in the cases and no one cared. The year was 1961. Remember most of the people on the bus was either a WW2 vet or married to one

I don’t know about you guys but I’m so glad the Biden regime, I mean administration, was completely fairly legitimately elected to save us from mean tweets. I absolutely love that we now have less money to spend toward those annoying things like vacations, weekend getaways, extra curricular activities like sporting events and concerts, trips to museums to aid in the education of my children. We are so much better off than we were… I’ll never doubt the integrity of our elections, ever…at all…not even slightly...

I live in Palm Beach County FL. I just came back from a Winn Dixie. A loaf of  pumpernickel bread that was 379 two weeks ago was 499 today

Fellow Palm Beach resident here.
We the people in Florida should be very grateful for the Governor we have, can’t you imagine what would have been to live under that Gillum crackhead this times?

We really dodged a bullet back then!
The communists are going for DeSantis throat this elections but if we can keep them from cheating and stealing yet another election we should be able to keep Ron as Governor.

Yes I see where your going with that, so back then they trusted people not do something stupid with a firearm. I'm sure that same area today if a 13 y/o did what you did back in 1961 they would be on the national news  ::)

Yesterday, I paid the highest natural gas bill in the 22 years we’ve lived in our home.

That's another aspect of life that's radically changed since I was a kid. I grew up in Birmingham AL, it wasn't a small city. No one, I mean no one ever even gave a thought about carrying a defensive weapon in 50s and 60s. There was absolutely no perceived need for that. I now live in what's called lower Alabama and a lot of my acquaintances and friends regularly carry. In fact, (I think this is correct) Alabama has highest per capita concealed weapons permits in the nation. Funny thing too is we don't shoot each other very much.

Well, maybe not "no one". I also grew up in Birmingham in the very early 60's. My brother and I happened on to a poisonous snake in our yard. Told our mom and she was frantic. A good ol' boy was passing by on the road and asked if he could help. Once informed of the issue, he pulled out is 6 shooter off his side and did what a southern man should do. I was quite impressed as a 6 year old.
