Shadow 2 SAO versus TS2
« on: February 05, 2022, 11:23:18 AM »
I’m ready to “pull the trigger” on either the Shadow 2 SAO or the TS2.  I will not be competing with this pistol, primarily for range use.  I like both of them however from what I’ve read the TS2 has a sub 3 pound trigger pull which for me is a bit too light.  The Shadow 2 SAO is in the 3 pound range which I prefer.  Do these trigger pull weights seem correct?  The overall dimensions of these pistols to include weight seem to be almost identical.

Thanks

Yeah in general I've found TS triggers whether they are the Orange, TS2 or the older ones, to be VERY light out of the box. Shadow 2 at least takes same mags as Shadow 1/SP01/CZ75B, so you can get them for less $$, especially the excellent MecGar ones.  Will be a great gun either way.

The TS variants come with a sub 2lb trigger stock.  If you are not interested in a sub 2lb trigger then I'd opt for the Shadow 2.

The TS also is a large frame and has a little more girth than the Shadow 2.

Cheers,
Toby

I’ve only handled a TS once - the trigger was a measured 1.5lbs. My son’s S2 SAO measures almost exactly 3lbs. For range use I prefer the lighter trigger but not the extra size. The S2 is a great shooter!
So my experience mirror what others have said.
