P10S O/R on the way
« on: February 12, 2022, 04:14:58 PM »
Been looking around for a p10s optic ready for a little while no hurry but always keeping an eye out. Some of the prices are like 750 or so when you can find them. But low and behold found one at bass pro under 500. Needless to say it’s on the way.

I'll have to admit I have a small amount of interest in them.  But it's going to have to shoot like my P07 and P09.

I guess the mags. I have now (P07 and P09) won't fit/work in it but at least any new mags I buy will work in my P07 or P09 if they are the right round count.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

He's talking the P10-S not the P10-C. Don't think the short mags from the S model will interchange with the P-07 like the C mags do.

It's a great little pistol - probably my favorite striker sub-compact, esp. with the HB Industries trigger!

I can tell you from first hand knowledge of two P-10S - someone forgot to tell them they are "subcompacts" - they think they are big guns! They shoot extremely well - I was able to hit steel at 20 yards WEAK hand only with little effort. Truly my favorite subcompact as well, and right now the only subcompact I would carry - mainly because the "M" got claimed on arrival.

I don't buy extra small mags.  Made the mistake a long time ago of buying P07 mags. for the P07.  Then I bought the P09 .40.  After that I only bought P09 .40 mags.

When I got the P07 9MM I didn't buy extra P07 9MM magazines.  I bought more P09 9MM magazines.

If things go south bad enough I need spare mags, I want BIG spare mags.

Any new mags I might buy for the possible small P10 would fit my P09s, too., or P07s.  It's unfortunate that my existing P07 and P09 magazines won't work in a P10.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Anyone had good luck with mag extensions on these? I’ve tried a handful because the only thing I dislike about it is the short grip (My 365XL has room to spare for a second pinky). I got the factory ones from CZ which add 2 rounds and are pretty comfortable so far but the gap between the bottom of the grip and the top of the extension is laughably large. It’s like putting 15s on a car that was designed for 18s.

I have fired my P-10S with C mags and F mags with no issues. No covers like a proper extension, but they work like a charm.

I tried Bass Pro and found no results for the CZ P10s Optics Ready.  But I did find one on rkguns for $549.99. BP had the CZ P10C for $629.

How do you guys get your pinky extensions to fit so flush? Mine leave a gaping chasm between the grip and the plate, even after I bought the CZ made ones.

I've experienced that gap with other pinky extensions, i.e. - the ones from Springer Precision and Killer Innovations. On both of those, the gap was enough that I couldn't stand it. It's because they are designed to be used with their proprietary magwells, but neither company is very clear about the fact that there is a significant gap if you don't use their magwell (unless they've updated their product descriptions recently).

The extension pictured with my P-10S above is from The Henning Group. I didn't do anything to modify it, so the fit you see in the pic is how it should fit, out of the box.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ve spent too much on base plates but here goes another haha. Last time I took mine out it shot crazy good (not surprising for a CZ compact size) but my hand was blistered after just a few mags from the gap on the CZ +2 pad.
