I have noticed posts and am interested in swapping lowers and uppers in 75 series pistols. What is the proper protocol when doing so ? I am not changing caliber.   If it fits it should shoot ? As long as the slide moves / cocks the hammer / chambers the round and ejects it all is good ?  As an example , take an upper
( slide & barrel combo ) from a P-01 and install it on a PCR lower. Maybe if I have to ask I'm not qualified to do it ?

I have a 75B stainless and a Compact. The frame on the 75B stainless is compatible with the slide on the Compact.  I really like this configuration.  It makes the gun a semi compact.  Unfortunately the frame on the Compact is not compatible with the 75B stainless slide.
