Manurhin MR 38 Match

Very early this year I saw not one but two ads for a Manurhin MR 38 Match. It’s not a very common gun, basically an MR 73 in match guise and .38 special only, single action only with a 5 3/4 inch barrel.

I negotiated a bit with both sellers and bought one for $ 1775.-. It came with box, manual, both stock and anatomical grip (medium size so too small for me) original counterweight and trigger shoe. Serial number dates it to 1984

Remember these being used in ISU centerfire matches, both in 32 S&W Long and 38 Special.  The Walther GSP and Hammerli eventually replaced all the revolvers, but it took a while.  Great find.
