I love how you show everyone it can be done it you want it bad enough.
When this whole thing started, I checked for components about 3x daily and found some by doing that.

a couple years ago, my pops in law came to town looking for primers. Said $50 was too much for a brick of Fed Lg Pistol Match primers. I snatched 2k of them up and gave him a stack for Christmas. Same for this year but that stack came from Cabelas.

I had been getting primers from the academy sports store regularly. Limit is 4-100 boxes for $6.99/box but they allow more than that as long as the customer goes to his/her car to put the bought primers and come back in to the store to buy more  O0.

TSUSA has them often at the inflated rate of 12 cents per and you have to buy 5000. They don't charge a hazmat fee but with shipping it comes out to 13 cents each.  They have SP and SR available now if anyone is desperate.

I love ALL my CZs and to not fire them would be a sin!! What is one to do if you can't find ammo, shout bang and throw your gun at the plate??? I prolly couldn't couldn't hit the plate at 20 yards!!

I put a lot of time into getting primers last spring/early summer. Getting in line at the local Bass Pro before they opened was the best bet. I never got close to running out, but still wanted to stock up. And I slowly did. I have 4-5 years worth now, given 200-300 rounds fired a week. When the price jumped from $65 per K to $80, I stopped buying. Not sure if it will ever go down (hope so), but I'm willing to wait and see.

The thing that surprises me is that they seem to have become harder to source locally. I figured when they were getting regular shipments at BP, it would continue to improve to the point they'd actually be primers on the shelves almost all the time. Loaded ammo has done that. No shortage of that in common calibers these days. But primers have become more scarce at the LGS's around here. Only one has any, and they want $140 per k. I'm not looking to buy anymore at this point/price, but still look for stock when I hit the stores.

I checked academy here and no go recently but they have had primers on ocasion in the past.
Cabelas limits to box. I went in the parking lot, put on a jacket and hat, talked in a different voice to a different person and bang, extra box...

Is this a thing?  Are there no primers?  I may need to check my storage unit.
