I came across this site, czgunsusa.com, and wondering if it’s legit.  Your advices are greatly appreciated.

Most likely not.

I visited the website and there are some peculiarities, but they went through a LOT of trouble to make a nice-looking website.

If you really want a clue, click on their FAQ link:  https://czgunsusa.com/faq/  I would not trust them.

I did a WHOIS.com check on their domain and it seems like they are run out of an apartment in Arizona.

I checked the ATF website for FFL license holders for Arizona and they are not listed.

If you do contact them, ask them to provide you with their FFL license number, then check it out to see if it rings true.

If not, then please, by all means, turn them in to the ATF!

One of the really POWERFUL things about this Forum is the ability to SEARCH.

I looked for "czgunsusa" and only your post came up, but if you search for "scams" at the top level of the Forum, you'll see that there have been multiple phony websites trying to trick people in to sending them money.  A real give-away that they are fake is if they want you to use Zelle, Paypal or some other minimally traceable electronic method to pay them.

Exercise caution!

There are so many of these scammer sites popping up nowadays. The dead giveaway is when they allow payment of bitcoin in the cart and dont give an option for credit card.

There are so many of these scammer sites popping up nowadays.

They are proliferating like weeds. Buyer beware.

It bears repeating, only because I know some fairly intelligent people who have succumbed to them... even today, long after you would think people should have learned to recognize scam sites.

Please, I implore you, I implore everyone, pretty please with sugar on top: Be advised the internet in general is a target-rich environment for scam artists all over the globe. The operator of the website in question almost certainly lies beyond the reach of any law enforcement agency anywhere. The money they collect in untraceable bitcoin or whatever is almost certainly used to finance international terrorism, illegal drugs, human trafficking, no end of other horribles etcetera ad infinitum. Where else do you think they get the money from if not a nearly infinite worldwide supply of gullible individuals, and the US is by far the richest source of them.

Realizing that it's easy for me to say, if one were to inspect the website you will find absolutely no indication whatsoever as to any relationship with CZ-USA. Worse, no physical address or even a phone number where a human being might actually reside. As such it should be regarded as untrustworthy on its face. Forget about buyer beware. Start with browser beware.

Again, it's easy for me to say, but people get scammed like this all the time. Personally I place blame squarely on one extremely popular search engine that I refuse to name but is often characterized as being "your friend." It is NOT your friend.

Do not use G**gle. For anything. Full stop.

Yes that is a dead giveaway, but there are plently of scam sites that accept credit cards. The criminals want your CC number, expiration date and CVV code. They are sold the instant you provide them.

Have never had a problem with any site indexed by gun.deals: https://gun.deals/
Do your own diligence, but they seem to have some authentication built in.   Wikiarms and this site are effectively the same/different branding but same ownership AFAIK.

Best results searching by item number or UPC rather than name/description.  I also use Gunbroker.
