Slide release lever
« on: March 20, 2022, 11:34:06 PM »
I have a tactical sport and I recently replace a broken slide release lever. I called CZ and they are still on back order.
Anywhere else I can purchase one.

Check your case, there should have been extras.

My TSO's came with extra slide stops in the case along with just the pin variants if you are running a competition rig and don't want it to lock back ever.

Otherwise I didn't see any at Cajun gun works or CZ Custom.  You could call them and see if they have any not listed online (I have had luck talking to them to find parts not listed/shown out of stock online).  Otherwise it looks like Cesarshop has them instock:

The real question is how did you break your slide stop in the first place?  What caliber, round count, recoil spring, and type of ammo are you running?  I know they will fail eventually but I'm still waiting for one on my TSO's to break and I am curious when I should start to be concerned.

Cheers,
Toby

since I bought the pistol used, I have no idea how many rounds it took for my TS .40 to break the slide stop. I now keep a separate dedicated slide stop for the original .40 cal upper and for a TSO 9mm upper I fit to it.

Thanks for the tip.this is the third time replacing it
two were worn that the slide wouldn’t lock back and the third one just broke. On the average I shoot 100 rounds a week with it

I've got about 20k between my TSO's and I'm still running the stock slide stop pins.  I have backup pins and I may implement the practice and comp swap as I don't really want a failure during a match.

For what its worth, I run a 16lb main and buffers with my 40 cal TSO variants.  I keep them oil/greased to prevent corrosion induced flaws.

Cheers,
Toby
