Question on CZ shadow 2 magazine release button
« on: March 21, 2022, 08:55:44 PM »
For Shadow 2 magazine releases that have the removable button attached via a torx screw, is the angle of the button adjustable? I.e. can the stock button be affixed to the release at a different angle than is the standard configuration?

Thanks!

Yes the angle is adjustable. IMHO be prepared to deal with some locktite on the screw holding the paddle on to the release. Following advice from this forum I used the tip of a soldering iron to heat the head of the screw up before removal, it helped a lot!

Ok thank you! much appreciated. I figured so but I just wanted to verify.

I was considering running one an SP01 but I was only interested if the button could be adjusted to face towards the the top of the slide so I wouldn’t have as much downward thumb movement, otherwise the added size would not benefit me.

Yep that’s exactly how I run mine, have one on both shadow 2s of course but also on a TSO and have one retrofitted to a P01, all pointed up at the slide.
