sounds like a PITA resolve, I most certainly will never buy one. Thanks for your post!

You're welcome.
If you had any interest in buying one and changed your mind after reading my post, you might want to reconsider. You look enough on different forums and you will find people posting some rare issues with pretty much any firearm. A gun going back to a manufacturer for repairs 2-3 times was reported with Glocks, Sigs, S&Ws etc. In some cases even very expensive 1911s could have issues. I don't see how my experience with P10S is any different than someone else's with a Glock 19. If you won't own a firearm after you run into a similar report, you most likely won't have any guns at all.
I actually was pleasantly surprised that CZ was willing to take care of the issue at all. They did so very fast and with all expenses covered. If you think about it, the gunsmith that was working on it replaced the parts and tested it before shipping it back. I'm pretty sure that even if he fired 300 rounds, he would have not noticed the small issues that I encountered after repair. I don't expect a gunsmith to do a hundred dry fires or test any extended mags. A bit closer inspection to check the smoothness of the moving parts would've been nice, but I can see how things that I noticed could be easily missed. I could've asked CZ to address the small things, but I just didn't want to bother and it was easier for me to take care of it.
In any case, I'm glad that someone found this information useful.
