97B Frame Checkering

I would like to have the front and rear straps of my 97B checkered like my Shadow 2. Would this be possible? Has anyone had it done?
Has anyone ever seen one checkered?

CZC didn't offer checkering but did offer stipiling which I passed on. Interested to see what turns up. dig the 97s.

IIRC, the thickness of the frame is inconsistent and not suitable for checkering.
