I have VZ Frags on my Compact.  Far grippier than the stock black plastic, more narrow, and rides comfortably next to skin.

Check Amazon....  I bought two sets of grips.  Required a bit of fitting but are good quality.  Cool Hand.

If you go with Cool Hand, don't expect any customer service if you have an issue. The last order I placed with them, they sent me one grip panel, when I had obviously ordered a pair. Multiple attempts to reach out to them and get the order corrected never prompted a response at all. I would never order from them again.

For me it's the OEM rubber grips.
If not those, it's LOK grips.
Am not buying Amazon grips and having to fit them, don't care how cheap they are.
Got over a dozen lok  grips and not one single issue.

Amazon, most require a tad bit of fitting.

I went thru 3 lok grip palm swells and finally settled on the thin lok grips. The palm swells felt better when holding the gun 1 handed, but using a 2 handed grip, I like the thins because it felt like a more secure grip. I just prefer the support hand to be gripping a flat surface. Tried mayhem, grenade, crosscut, and finally settled on the full checkered.

The mayhem dug into my fingers when I grip tight, the grenade and crosscut were comfortable but the grip wasn’t as secure. The full checkered sandpaper-like texture gives secure grip without digging into my fingers. It’s not as comfortable against the skin for appendix as the grenade and crosscut, but it’s a good compromise. Lok grips have a good return policy so you can just order a few and send back the ones you don’t like.

I'm a fan of the factory rubber grips.  If I buy an older CZ that doesn't have them I order a set and install them.

We have a satin nickel CZ75 Compact that is just slick as can be.  I had put some skateboard tape on the front of the grip to help hold on to it.  I put the soft rubber on the pistol and after a couple range trips I tool the tape off.  The grips made the difference.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?
