How did CZ get the trigger so light on the P10C?

For a partially cocked striker gun like the P10, I'm surprised as to how light the trigger is on that gun. Did CZ design some parts differently than standard striker fired guns to lighten the trigger?

It all depends on the particular P10 you shoot. It's a bit of a lottery.

This is so true. I have three of them, and one of them feels better than the other three no matter what parts I put in it. Unfortunately, it's the only one not milled for a dot.

Interesting. I held a regular P10C this weekend and the trigger felt nice.

My pull weight is pretty stiff.  The CZ is a more complex design than Glock and SW at many points.  Just watch a take down video.  This means more possible inconsistency in execution.  If your gun exhibits smooth take up and a clean light break you are fortunate.

Total lottery.  I have a 3lb pull, only change I made was the HBI -15% striker spring.  My friend also has a P10C and says his trigger is very gritty.

The P-10C trigger on the rental gun at the range was very smooth. On the new one I bought for myself it seems a bit more rough.
 
I wonder if this has to do with breaking in the gun? It seems like it is improving now after 225 rounds.

 They definitely improve a bit with use, mostly smoother.

Correct. It is generally considered that the typical CZ pistol isn't going to settle in and start to feel "normal" until you:
- Remove all the shipping grease
- Lubricate the trigger mechanism
- Fire at least 500 rounds

Doesn't hold for every CZ, but don't set lofty expectations until.
