This business had two advertised on 1911 Addicts forum and both were sold within the blink of any eye.
The seller said to reach out thru his website if you want to order one.

If this is a real source, then it looks like the DWX lives. I find it odd that CZ/Dan Wesson would not have made a bigger announcement. I went to the DW web site and I did not see it.

That's bogus, I believe. I recently saw a scam retailer that had the DWX for sale. Pay with Zelle or crypto.

You're wrong. Shooting Wire is a well known industry news source. That's a CZ-USA press release. Authorized dealers and distributors started selling the DWX today

What a shock!!  I though this was gone forever, but evidently it's back.  MSRP $2099.

If street pricing is $1800-1900 (e.g., Omaha Outdoors has it listed for $1869.99), I don't know if it'll fare well against Staccato. I think when it was announced at SHOT Show 2020, it was supposed to be around $1500-1600.

I am with most here and will wait out the hype and let them get into hands and see how reports go. This is the only handgun I have been very excited about in a long time. Not super excited the price went up, but I guess that is the deal these days.

Just saw the Youtube videos on these. It sounds too good to be true. The lovechild of a 1911 and a CZ75 with some SiG features to make it even more interesting.

I suppose its too much of an oversimplification to call it a CZ75 with a 1911 trigger, right? (which honestly is kind of a dream come true for me).

Mechanically...yes that's an oversimplification. But from a practical viewpoint that's basically how it works out, 75 ergonomics and 1911 trigger.

Well, at least we are finally seeing something new after a long dry spell from both CZ and DW. I'd honestly given up a long time ago on ever seeing the DWX in production.

But as others have said, I can't believe they finally got around to this, and in the year 2022, didn't make it optics-ready.

Watching one of the Youtube videos from a gun reviewer, the Sig P320 fire control unit was mentioned. I wasn't clear whether he meant that it had a similar concept of modular fire control or whether it used the same Sig P320 fire control unit.

I would assume it wouldn't be a Sig FCU since the DWX has an external hammer. The Sig FCU is striker fired.

Can anyone confirm?

Its just similar in the fact they are both modular.  That is all.
