DWX news?
« on: August 26, 2022, 06:13:34 PM »
Anyone know what’s going on with the DWX? I’ve been holding of on the Shadow 2 because of this. It’s been over 2 years and no news on release date, or whether it will be released at all. I mean, they already have prototypes out so it can’t be that hard to start manufacturing.

They had manufacturing issues in that they couldn't get the gun to run right and then the plandemic came along and created parts/supply issues also being in the pinko state of NY they were shut down longer than most other places so they just decided to pack it in.
They had it posted on their website for a period after the decision to scrap the project but now there's no mention that it ever even existed.
I would have loved to have gotten one as well but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

I wonder if the fact the the limited division it was intended to compete in is dying a slow death has anything to do with it?

If this is a real source, then it looks like the DWX lives. I find it odd that CZ/Dan Wesson would not have made a bigger announcement. I went to the DW web site and I did not see it.

That is a very legit source for industry news. DW website is having some sort of issue, some people can see it on there and some can't. They're working on it.

I just can’t understand why there is anything but an OR slide on this. In fact they should partner with one of the big electronic sight guys and offer a factory package!
