If you have one that you're interested in selling list it for sale at the price YOU think it's worth and see if you get any interest. Others may do as they wish with their money but if I were looking for one I would not pay a cent more than they sold for when in production. It's still just a service grade CZ no matter what.

Well there you go. Looks like you already have an answer. Now you just need to find that kind of buyer. (FYI it’s not me)

People tend to confuse the CZ P-01 aluminum frame models with the rarer P-01 steel frame model

Thanks Hodge! That's what I was asking for. A simple answer to a simple question.

Is it really that simple or is this a one off sale by the proverbial fool and his money? Would everyone be dumb enough to overpay for that gun? Probably not that simple.

OP, try truegunvalue.com as a reference. Gets you in the ballpark.

In my humble opinion, someone should slap the stupid out of anyone paying $1200.00 for a steel P01. As much as I like my CZ's, they aren't THAT special. To me perhaps, but not in reality.

Too bad they don't include the SKU model number on their data base.

I wonder why CZ just didn't name the steel version# 99041, CZ P-01 as a SP-01 Compact? Because that's basically what it is.
