New CZ 75 B - First Shots
« on: September 12, 2022, 03:54:39 PM »
I picked up this 75 B and the Prodigy on the same day. I did 300 DA & 300 SA dry fires (with o-ring) to break in the trigger.
This is 25 rounds of S&B 124 FMJ, freestanding, outdoors from 7 yards. My grip and trigger control need a little more work,
but she is smooth and sweet shooter. I just ordered 2 more 16 round mags for her, because she is a keeper.  8)

7 yrds? Let's see results from 25 yrds.

Lol... now you sound like Europe, except he says 25 Meters. I have 61 year old eyes and I don't wear my readers to shoot.
I would probably just be wasting ammo at that distance.

With a little practice you can make the same group at 25 yards no problem with a cz .enjoy! And may it run flawlessly!

I have many pistols besides my CZs that are 25 yard tack drivers, it's my eyesight that's the weak link at that distance.
Most defensive situations will be inside of 10 yards, so I really have no reason to shoot further than that except maybe for fun.

Never say never.

And, you never know till you try it.  The group will get bigger, but then you'll know what your limit, with that pistol is.

I'm sure my CZ75B .40 would be better for me if it had a red dot on it, but I just hate to go that route.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I will probably play around with some longer range shooting. I hear you, I don't ever plan on putting optics on my pistols.

If you wear readers, that means you are farsighted, which should be in your favor for distance shooting. I have to wear bifocals all the time.

Shoot, I'm 62 with readers... when I take my CZ 75B .40 out for a walk we can bounce soup cans out past 75 yards.
No target is too large or to close to miss.
