approximate value P-10F in .45
« on: September 15, 2022, 08:17:47 AM »
Looking for some thoughts from the group.  Considering selling my P-10F in .45 ACP.  Before I take it to Cabela's, I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts about its current approximate value?  It has not been fired much, bought during pandemic when .45 ACP was hard to come by.

1/2 to 2/3 of what you paid for it.

I wasn't born in America, but I got here as fast as I could.

The local range I shoot at has one new in the box for $549. I mildly considered it until I spent an hour searching for spare mags which are no where to be found at this point so I passed.

Wonder how it's so hard to find P10F .45 ACP mags.

What is there to wonder about? The
restructuring of CZ-USA has created a shortage of parts. The P10 .45 was manufactured in low numbers without parts to support it. Expect more of the same.

Yep. Which along with the lack of mags is another reason I passed on the gun. I have zero use for safe queens at this point and a gun with no spare parts support is equally useless to me.

I bought the P-10F .45 before CZ-USA announced they would be discontinuing it.  I'm not sure how long it was on the market (actually available to purchase), but if I had to guess, maybe about a year?  That's the main reason I'm probably going to sell it.  I just wanted a feel for things before I walk into Cabela's.  Our local Cabela's has been very good at not low-balling their offers, but info never hurts.  I have plenty of mags for my 97, and I think there are enough of those out there that spare parts shouldn't be too big of an issue down the road.
