I need help. The time came to add another CZ to the stable. I want one with DA and decocker, so the obvious choice is between P01 and P07. Initially I thought to pickup a P01 (not Omega) for the metal frame. I went to my LGS to feel both. The trigger reach on P01 was way longer than I cared for. I have small hands and while the grip itself is comfortable, the DA is way too long for my fingers, even from half cocked state. Maybe Omega is shorter due to the different trigger shoe, but I'd rather avoid this one because I read that decocker on a regular P01 is tougher. If I get P01, I will change to the thinnest grips. I know about this option, but I'm sure that grips alone won't be enough. Stock P07 DA trigger reach is manageable, but I would love it even shorter, if possible.
So my question is.
1) Is it possible with CGW parts to get the DA on P01 at least as short as stock P07? I think "yes", but I would love to get a confirmation that the reach reduction kit really makes a big difference .
2) Is it possible to reduce the reach of DA P07? I didn't see any kits specifically for this.
3) With all options combined (smaller backstrap, thin grips, CGW parts, etc) will P07 still have the shorter reach than P01?
