Recoil Spring issue

Just got a used 75BD and my recoil spring is making a rubbing noise whenever I pull the slide back, I ordered a new 15lb spring from CGW in hopes to fix this but just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or know if it is normal for a CZ (this is my first one) or if it is a bigger issue I need to get looked at, thanks!

Did that about 5 times to still no avail im hoping the spring fixes the issue

If it's rubbing/clicking like that what is it rubbing on?

Is the spring bent? 

Does it show wear marks on the inside of the spring from rubbing on the front of the spring guide?

Does it show wear on the insides/rear of the slide where the front of the spring sits and compresses as the slide is pulled to the rear?

Rubbing/clicking has to put some wear somewhere.

Spring is bent and I can see some scuff marks on the barrel where it’s rubbing

I've had a "rubbing noise", on CZ's before.  Depending on the model, I go with a full length guide rod ( or at least a SS one), and get a Wolff spring - usually with a higher weight.  Seems to eliminate, what I assume is "kinking" or something akin.

I'd try the new spring and see if it eliminates the hitch in the slide.  You have the short guide rod in your gun that doesn't support the entire recoil spring.  I assume that there isn't a hole in the slide to allow for the use of a full length guide rod?  You can drill out the slide and use a full length guide rod but I'd wait and see if the new recoil spring is the fix.

With the recoil spring and guide rod out of the gun, does it hitch and bind when cycling the slide by hand?  I'm not sure what would cause the recoil spring to get bent but let's hope that it was just "user error" on the previous owners part.  Pictures of the internals could help troubleshoot if anything else is awry.  Any other signs of gunsmithing work performed on this firearm?
