Shot steel today
« on: September 28, 2022, 08:36:29 PM »
I carried my 66% silhouette and 8 inch steel today along with my CZ Shadow 2 and my carry, a SA Armory Range Officer Compact 45acp. I fired approximately 100 rounds thru the CZ and about 40 rounds thru the 45. It was fun. Targets was set up at 15 yards. Shooting back and forth between the 2 targets as fast as I could. Naturally, the CZ was faster than the Range Officer Compact but not by much. The 8 inch target never stopped swinging while shooting either pistol. A good day.

Today made up for a bad day last week. I set up at 585 yards to try a new load through my Bergara Wilderness Ridge 6.5 Creedmoor. I was very disappointed with the load. I couldn’t make heads or tails out with that load. I’ll up the load some and seat the bullet a little longer. With my other bullets and loads, I’ll keep them all on the 8 inch steel as long as the wind is not acting up. But that day I couldn’t keep all my shots on a poster board. Very bad day.
